Background: Kaitlyn was born and raised in Colorado Springs. She then went on to the University of Colorado-Boulder, where she was a captain for the women’s volleyball team. After graduating from CU, she pursued her passion of teaching by earning her master’s degree at the University of Northern Colorado.
